23 Army aviators complete flying training at BFTS

An impressive valedictory function was held at Basic Flying Training School (BFTS) of the Bamrauli Air Force Station in Prayagraj on Saturday to mark the successful completion of training of 23 Army aviators.

The aviators went through rigorous flying and ground training over the past five months under the guidance of BFTS Commanding Officer Wing Commander Abhimanyu Singh, a CAT-B qualified training instructor with over 4,700 hours of flying experience, said Shantanu Pratap Singh, public relations officer (Defence) in Prayagraj.

Air Commodore AK Chourasia, Air Officer Commanding was the reviewing officer of the valedictory function and was received by Wing Commander Abhimanyu Singh on his arrival.

During the valedictory function, Chourasia presented certificates to the graduating officers and trophies to those who excelled during the course.

Captain Atul Kumar Singh stood first in “ground subjects”, and Captain Peekendra Singh was awarded a trophy for being first in “flying” and also for being the “best in overall order of merit”.
