With the arrest of (1) Ajay Singh, aged 37 years R/o Kadipur, Delhi  (2) Sachin Sharma R/o Jahangirpuri, Delhi the Cyber Police Station, Rohini has busted a gang of hi-tech criminals who used to cheat gullible people on pretext of providing loan under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme scheme. 

INCIDENT
One Ms. Kanti Soni filed a complaint at NCRP portal regarding cheating after obtaining her details i.e. IDs, bank details. She alleged in the complaint that she got a call from a lady who told her that they provide loan under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme under which the complainant would get Rs. 10,00,000/- and in return she had to pay only Rs. 6,50,000/- and for the process the complainant had to pay rupees 5000/-. The lady also asked the complainant to pay Rs. 5000/- for enrolling herself. Accordingly, the complainant transferred Rs. 5000/- but she did not get any loan. The complainant asked the accused person to return the money but the same was not returned to the complainant. On the basis of said complaint and preliminary enquiry, a case vide FIR No. 98/22, U/S 419/420 IPC was registered at PS Cyber Rohini and investigation of the case was taken up.

TEAM & OPERATION
In order to apprehend the culprits, a team comprising of, SI Ankit Yadav, SI Ankur Tomar, HC Ajay, HC Ashish Nain, Ct Pardeep, and W/Ct Jyoti was constituted under the supervision of Insp. Ajay Dalal, SHO/Cyber Police Station, Rohini and under overall supervision of Sh. Ishwar Singh, ACP/Operation/Rohini.

INVESTIGATION/ INTERROGATION
During the course of investigation, on the basis of technical analysis, money trail and local intelligence, it was learnt that the alleged persons are based in Adarsh Nagar, Azadpur area. Subsequently, local intelligence was gathered about the suspects in the vicinity.

Accordingly, a raid was conducted and accused person namely Ajay Singh, aged 37 years r/o Kadipur, Delhi & Sachin Sharma, aged 25 years r/o Jahangirpuri, Delhi were arrested in this case with the help of technical surveillance. They disclosed that they along with their employees used to fool people on the pretext of providing loan under Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme and charge rupees for the same. They neither provide the loan to the victim nor return the money they had charged.

Both the person were subjected to sustained interrogation. At their instance, 21 mobile phones, 02 PCs, 2 laptops, 01 wifi router and 01 dongle have been recovered from their possession.

Further investigation/ interrogation is in progress. Efforts are being made to identify the other victims cheated by them.
