YouTuber builds Intel Core i7-12700 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060-powered gaming PC inside a working toilet

A YouTuber has taken the idea of gaming on a toilet to the extreme by converting a working toilet into a gaming computer. Based on an Intel Core i7-12700 and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, the PC build was not without its issues and hacks.

YouTuber Basically Homeless has decided to it upon themselves to build the ultimate set-up for gaming while on the toilet. As the embedded video below shows, the YouTuber has placed an entire computer inside a toilet cistern. Understandably, the project requires a few modifications, including the installation of a smaller water tank to prevent water from damaging the PC itself. According to Basically Homeless, the new water tank contains enough water for a single flush before it needs to refill fully.

Additionally, Basically Homeless installed a fan within the toilet lid to improve ventilation, which he furnished with RGB lighting. Predictably, the YouTuber has included other RGB lighting that can be synchronised with the fan's lighting when needed. Basically Homeless adds that the set-up can adequately cool an Intel Core i7-12700 and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060; effectively, the project is a mini-ITX build.

Unsurprisingly, the project is difficult to pull off, primarily because the cistern is barely big enough to house an entire gaming computer. The project was not watertight initially either, which Basically Homeless resolved by liberally applying rubber sealant coating across all the water tank's joints. Overall, Basically Homeless has put together a compact gaming PC, but only by mounting a gaming monitor and a table for a mouse and keyboard. Ultimately, a gaming handheld like the Nintendo Switch or the Steam Deck would probably be a better solution for most people.
