In the meeting, he made a detailed review of the academic activities. Commissioner Shri Chandrashekhar directed that quality education should be ensured by ensuring 100% attendance of the children in the schools. Teachers should make the best use of their potential by reaching the school on time. Departmental officers should continuously monitor the schools. Any negligence in academic work will not be tolerated. Instead of suspending the negligent officers employees, stop their increment. He said that the school buildings should be properly maintained. Schools should not be run in dilapidated buildings. Collector Harshika Singh, District Panchayat CEO Rani Batad and ADM Meena Masram along with Collector in NIC roomconcerned were present. Divisional Commissioner B. Chandrashekhar reviewed the district wise construction works of Amrit Sarovars. He said that the work of Amrit Sarovar should be completed soon. Commissioner Mr. Chandrashekhar took detailed information about plantation during the rains. He asked all the collectors about the identified sites for plantation. He said that a strategy should be made for intensive and effective plantation during the rains. For plantation, make a pit 2 feet long, 2 wide and 2 feet deep. He also took data-wise information about the plantation work done so far. He said that arrangements should also be made for the protection and care of the planted plants. Collector Harshika Singh informed that the cooperation of members of self-help groups is also being taken for plantation and protection of trees in the district. The concerned staff is being trained for tree plantation. Mrs. Singh also gave detailed information regarding the preparations for the campaign for tree plantation.
