The Skoda compact SUV will get roof rails, shark fin antenna, spoiler-mounted brake light and wraparound LED taillight units. The vehicle will be based on the India-specific MQB-A0-IN platform, which also underpins the bigger Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV.

As per media reports, the Skoda compact SUV will have a wheelbase of 2,566mm. For reference, the Kushaq has an 85mm longer wheelbase at 2,651mm.

At the heart of the Skoda compact SUV will be a 3-cylinder, 1.0-litre, TSI petrol engine, developing 115PS of maximum power and 175Nm of peak torque. The transmission options will include a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT torque converter.

Considering the price of other models in this segment, we expect the Skoda compact SUV price to be in the range of Rs 8 lakh to Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Skoda is yet to officially announce the name of this compact SUV.
