Don Atiq Ahmad's son Asad killed in an encounter in UP's Jhansi

LUCKNOW: Almost two months after lawyer Umesh Pal, a witness in Raju Pal murder was killed in a sensational shootout, UPSTF on Thursday killed gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad's son Asad Ahmad and his accomplice in UP's Jhansi.
Special DG, law and order, Prashant Kumar, said both Asad and Ghulam were carrying reward of Rs 5 lakh each and were killed in encounter with UPSTF team led by DySP Navendu and DySP Vimal in Babina area of Jhansi.
