35% rise in Mumbai's daily COVID-19 case count at 1,781; positivity rate at 16.88%

Mumbai reported 1,781 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, which is 35.95% higher than the 1,310 cases recorded on Monday. The city also saw one death and 1,723 recoveries in the last 24 hours. The city's positivity rate now stands at 16.88%, compared to Monday's 13.88%. There are currently 14,146 active patients of coronavirus in Mumbai
