Tragic Multi-Vehicle Crash Claims Lives of Four Indian Nationals in Texas
Four Indian nationals, including a young woman, tragically lost their lives in a horrific multi-vehicle accident on U.S. 75 highway near Anna, Texas, during the Labor Day weekend. The collision, which occurred on the northbound lane just past White Street, involved five vehicles and left several others injured.

The victims, who had connected through a carpooling app, were traveling to Bentonville, Arkansas, when a speeding truck failed to slow down and rammed into their SUV from behind. The impact caused the SUV to burst into flames, trapping the four occupants inside. Despite efforts by authorities, the victims were charred to death at the scene.

The deceased have been identified as Aryan Raghunath Orampati and his friend Farooq Shaik from Hyderabad, Lokesh Palacharla from East Godavari in Andhra Pradesh, and Darshini Vasudevan from Tamil Nadu. Aryan and Farooq were returning from a trip to Dallas, while Lokesh was traveling to Bentonville to meet his wife and Darshini was on her way to visit her uncle.

Authorities are currently relying on DNA fingerprinting and teeth and bone remnants to confirm the identities of the victims due to the severity of the burns. The long Labor Day weekend in the U.S. has further delayed the identification process, adding to the anguish of the families involved.

The tragic incident has once again highlighted the importance of road safety and the need for stricter measures to prevent such accidents. The families of the deceased are awaiting further updates from the authorities and are seeking assistance in repatriating the remains of their loved ones.
