Varanasi 2 september:-(desk) There is good news for city bus passengers in Varanasi. The fares for e-buses and ordinary city bus services are going to be reduced by 2 to 5 rupees. The Urban Transport Directorate has issued a letter to all metropolitan districts informing them of this. It is expected that the new fare will be implemented from the first week of September.

In Varanasi, there is a plan to provide relief to city bus passengers by reducing fares. The fares for e-buses and ordinary city bus services will decrease by 2 to 5 rupees. The Urban Transport Directorate has issued a letter to all metropolitan districts regarding this matter. It is expected that the new fares will be implemented in the first week of September after updating the system.

Since the introduction of e-buses, the number of passengers using Varanasi City Transport Services Limited has increased. Recently, due to issues with refunding money, fares were rounded to whole numbers, which affected passengers financially, forcing them to pay an additional 2 to 5 rupees.

Taking the feedback from daily commuters seriously, a decision was made to reconsider the fare structure.
