Varanasi 2 september:-(desk) The Varanasi court will hear today the review petition filed against the lower court's order allowing the petitioner to become a party in the case seeking permission to offer 'Urs' cloth at the graves and perform other religious activities in the Gyanvapi complex. During the previous hearing, advocate Nandlal Prasad, representing the review petitioner Mukhtar Ahmad Ansari, a resident of Loha, had presented the case in the court.

The hearing on the review petition against the lower court's order, which allowed the inclusion of parties in the case related to the demand for 'Urs', offering of cloth, and other religious activities at the graves in the Gyanvapi complex, will take place today in the court of Additional District Judge (Seventh) Awadhesh Kumar.

In the lawsuit filed by Mukhtar Ahmad from Loha and three others, the Civil Judge (Senior Division Fast Track) court ordered the inclusion of six individuals, including Ranjana Agnihotri from Lucknow and Pawan from Varanasi, as parties in the case. The petitioner has filed a review petition against this order.

During the previous hearing, advocate Nandlal Prasad represented Mukhtar Ahmad Ansari, the review petitioner from Loha, and presented the case in court.

He informed the lower court about the compensation sought in the petition and noted that the disputed site (Araji number 9130) is recorded with the Waqf Board. Advocates Sudhir Tripathi and Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi represented the six individuals included in the case, while advocate Rajesh Mishra appeared on behalf of the state government.
