The Agra-Banaras Vande Bharat Express operates six days a week, excluding Fridays. It covers a distance of 573 kilometers (356 miles) in approximately seven hours, with an average speed of 82 km/h (51 mph). The train makes stops at four key stations: Tundla Junction, Etawah Junction, Kanpur Central, and Prayagraj (Allahabad) Junction before reaching its final destination in Banaras.

The train was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing from Ahmedabad.
