Live Updates: ED summons Sonia Gandhi tomorrow for third round of questioning in money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate Tuesday questioned Congress President Sonia Gandhi for over six hours on the second day of her appearance in connection with a money laundering case linked to the National Herald newspaper. The 75-year-old has been asked to appear again on Wednesday, officials said. She left the agency’s office in central Delhi just before 7 pm on Tuesday after recording her statement.
Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi and other congress leaders have been released from Kingsway Camp after they were detained by the Delhi police for protesting against the ED’s summoning of Sonia Gandhi in an alleged money laundering case. The leaders who were detained included Mallikarjun Kharge, Ranjeet Ranjan, KC Venugopal, Manickam Tagore, Imran Pratapgarhi, and K Suresh.
