National Commission for Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma, Director General of Police UP D.S. Chouhan, in exercise of his powers conferred under Section 10(1)(1) of the 1990 Act, has taken suo motu cognizance of the above reference and recommended action under appropriate sections.
