IG Basti Range and DM SP took stock of the security

Sant Kabir Nagar. On the second Monday of Sawan, devotees worshiped by performing Jalabhishek in various Shivalayas of the district. After filling water from the Saryu river, a group of kanwariyas started reaching the temple premises after midnight, raising slogans of 'Bol Bam'. After Jalabhishek, women and children shopped fiercely in the fair.
From late Sunday evening, the group of Kanwariyas left towards Saryu river. After 11 o'clock in the night, a group of Kanwariyas started reaching Tameshwarnath Dham raising the slogan of Bol Bam. At one o'clock in the night, first of all the devotees of the Goswami family performed Jalabhishek to Lord Shiva. After that the temple was opened for the devotees from 2 o'clock in the night.

DM Divya Mittal and SP Sonam Kumar along with IG took stock of the security arrangements at Tameshwarnath Dham on Monday. After that, Jalabhishek was done to Bholenath.
The DM said that there is a mythological belief of Baba Tameshwarnath Shiva temple. People's wishes are fulfilled by performing Jalabhishek and worship here. SP Sonam Kumar said that after inspecting the Shiva temple, premises and ghat, information about law and order was taken. During this, CO Anshuman Mishra, traffic in-charge Brajesh Yadav etc. were present.
