International Yoga Day 2022: The government has decided to make this year's Yoga Day celebrations a gala affair as Covid had stalled major public events for the last two years.
The Centre has lined up several events and functions to mark the eighth International Yoga Day on Tuesday, which will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a yoga event in Mysuru in Karnataka that would be attended by over 15,000 people. Integrating the event with the 75th year of India's Independence, 75 ministers of the Centre will perform yoga at 75 historical and cultural sites in the country.
