The residents reported that street lights on all the poles in their ward have been out of order for a significant period, leaving the area in darkness at night. This lack of lighting has increased the risk of thefts and other criminal activities, making the residents feel unsafe in their own homes. Despite multiple complaints to the authorities, no action has been taken to fix the street lights or address the other infrastructural issues.

In addition to the malfunctioning street lights, the residents highlighted the poor condition of the drainage systems and roads in their ward. Many drains are broken, leading to waterlogging and unsanitary conditions. The roads are also in disrepair, with large potholes and uneven surfaces causing difficulties for pedestrians and vehicles alike. The accumulation of garbage in various parts of the ward has further exacerbated the situation, creating a serious health hazard.

The residents have demanded immediate action from the District Magistrate to resolve these issues. They urged the authorities to conduct a thorough inspection of the ward and take the necessary steps to restore basic amenities. The protest reflects the growing frustration of the community, who have been enduring these problems for a long time with no resolution in sight. The residents hope that their complaints will finally be addressed and that their living conditions will improve.
