PO) WANTED IN A ROBBERY CASE AT PS NANGLOI DELHI NABBED BY THE TEAM OF PS WAZIRABAD

ONE PROCLAIMED OFFENDER (PO) WANTED IN A ROBBERY CASE AT PS NANGLOI DELHI NABBED BY THE TEAM OF PS WAZIRABAD.

• THE ACCUSED WAS DECLARED AS PO BY THE HON’BLE COURT OF MM TIS HAZARI COURT DELHI VIDE ORDER DATED 17.08.2022.

BRIEF FACTS:
As per the directions of the senior officers, the dedicated PO team of North District Delhi was working to gather information regarding Proclaimed Offenders in Delhi and other areas of NCR. On 19.08.2022, ASI Ashok of PS Wazirabad North District received a secret information through his reliable sources that one Proclaimed Offender namely Laxman@ Golu was hiding in the area of Rajiv Ratan Awas, Delhi. If raid is conducted well in time, the offender might be apprehended.

The information was immediately shared with senior officers and as per their directions, a dedicated police team of PS Wazirabad comprising of ASI Ashok Kumar, HC Ajit Singh and HC Yogesh Kumar was constituted, under the close supervision of Inspr. Virender Kumar, SHO/PS Wazirabad and guidance of Shri Patil Swagat Rajkumar, ACP/Timarpur. The team proceeded to the place of information to conduct the raid.

As per directions of senior officers and acting on the secret information, the dedicated police team laid a strategic trap with the help of technical investigation. The team by showing great sense of responsibility and alertness successfully apprehended the suspect at about 07:00 AM from the area of Rajiv Ratan Awas, Delhi, who was identified as Laxman @ Golu, age-24 years.

On sustained enquiry and checking in police record, the offender Laxman@ Golu, age-24 years was found declared as Proclaimed Offender (PO) by the order of Hon'ble Court of MM Tis Hazari Court, Delhi, vide order dated 17.08.2022 in case vide FIR No. 373/16, u/s 392/411/34 IPC PS Nangloi, Delhi. Accordingly, the offender was arrested u/s 41.1 (C) Cr.P.C. at PS Wazirabad and investigation was taken up.

INTERROGATION:
During interrogation the offender/accused Laxman @ Golu, age-24 years disclosed that he was hiding himself to evade court proceedings. He is an illiterate and unemployed. Accordingly, the accused/offender has been produced before the concerned Hon’ble court.
