Delhi makes face masks mandatory in public places, 500 fine for violators
Delhi government has made the wearing of face masks in all public places mandatory. A fine of ₹500 will be imposed on violators, as per the official order. Those travelling together in private four-wheeler vehicles will not be fined, the order states. Notably, Delhi on Wednesday reported 2,146 new COVID-19 cases and eight deaths, the highest in nearly six months.
