At least 13 people have been injured in a shootout at a subway station in Brooklyn, New York, law enforcement said. The injured have been admitted to various hospitals in the area after what the police think was a lone wolf attack.

The police have described the suspected shooter as a man about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds.
According to the police, the gunman acted alone and that investigation is on to find the motive of the suspect. However, the all-out manhunt for the gunman is the investigators' top priority, they said.
A suspect fled wearing an orange construction vest and a gas mask, according to the police, who are on the lookout for the gunman.
The New York Police Department, at a press conference, said that the Brooklyn shooting is being investigated as an "act of terrorism" and that no "life-threatening injuries" have been reported.
Horrifying visuals from the scene show people tending to bloodied passengers lying on the floor of the station, where train services have been delayed during the morning rush hour.
