Woman Found Murdered in Baghpat Village, Police Launch Investigation

Baghpat 06 September (desk):-A 55-year-old woman named Faiyajan was found brutally murdered in the fields of Matanatnagar village, Baghpat. Her body was discovered on Thursday evening with her throat slit, raising alarm in the community. Police have initiated an investigation into the murder.

According to her son Imran, Faiyajan lived alone in the village while her sons worked outside. On Thursday afternoon, she went to the fields to collect fodder for their animals but never returned. Later that evening, her body was found near the Purwa-Budhsaini road by passersby, who immediately informed the village head, leading to a police alert.

The scene was thoroughly examined by a police team, including Superintendent of Police Arpit Vijayvargiya and other senior officers. A dog squad was also brought in to assist with the investigation. The police are now exploring several possible motives for the murder, including personal enmity.

Imran, who had visited his mother earlier that day to give her money, was devastated upon hearing the news. He mentioned that he had searched for his mother in the village before leaving, unaware of the tragedy that had taken place. Police have assured the family that the investigation will be expedited, and they hope to solve the case soon.
