Dagona Waterfalls -dindori mp

Dagona Waterfalls is a very attractive place located approximately 65 km away from the district headquarters of Dindori in Madhya Pradesh. Dagona is a very beautiful and quiet place surrounded by dense forests. It is situated on the banks of the Budner river and is situated between village Gaura - Kanhari. Around the waterfall, there is a dense and attractive forest. Dagona is derived from the Hindi word 'dag', which means step . At this place, the Budner river flows between two rocks, which can be crossed in a dug (step). That's why the name Dagoana falls.

Dagona Waterfall

The water of the river Budhner flows very rapidly in the Dagona Fall and due to the erosion of the hill and the clay have formed a structure similar to the deep narrow groove, and the entire budhner river rises with this groove structure. Due to being very high in some places here, this river looks very dangerous. In this groove structure there are few small waterfalls and in some places river water is cooled.
Near the dagona waterfall there is also the temple of budi Mai where people come to worship.There is no special arrangement for staying here, people have to come to Dindori to stay. Forest rest house is located in village Gora Kanhari, near Waterfall, where only forest department officials are arranged.
