Mirzapur 1 september:-(desk) Thirteen officials faced serious consequences due to negligence in their work, prompting the Commissioner to demand explanations from them. This action underscores the importance of accountability and diligence in public service, as the Commissioner seeks to address the lapses and ensure that such incidents do not recur in the future.

On Wednesday, Commissioner Dr. Muthukumar Swami B. held a meeting in the Commissioner’s office auditorium with Deputy Inspector General of Police R.P. Singh and officials from various departments, including those overseeing government development priority programs, law and order, traffic management, the revenue department, and the minerals department. The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of revenue collection efforts.

During the meeting, the Commissioner directed the review of categorized schemes received on the Chief Minister's dashboard and instructed officials to enhance their progress. He sought explanations from 13 officials for their negligence and lack of expected progress in their work. Additionally, he directed that adverse entries be made against two officials.
