Mirzapur 3 september:-(desk) while hearing the case of a murder in Rudauli village from 2008, District Judge Anmol Pal found the accused guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Additionally, he was fined ₹25,000.

In the Rudauli village under Chaunnar police station, gram chowkidar Laxman informed the police station on March 24, 2008 that an unknown person's body was lying under a culvert in the village. Both his hands were tied with a towel. There were signs of injury on the head. The police, who reached the spot on receiving the information, registered a murder case and started investigating the matter. The deceased was identified as Jamuna Prasad, a resident of Biyahur police station Ahraura.

Jamuna Prasad's brother Ganga Ram, in his written complaint, stated that his brother had given money to Kapildeo Pandey alias Pappu Pandey, a resident of Ghasipura, for registering a deed of one and a half bigha of land. Instead of returning the money, he called Jamuna Prasad and murdered him. The police registered a case against the accused Kapildeo Pandey and arrested him. After investigation, the police presented the charge sheet in the court.

Based on the statements of witnesses and evidence, District Judge Anmol Pal found the accused Kapildeo Pandey guilty and sentenced him to life imprisonment. He was also fined ₹25,000. If the fine is not paid, he will have to undergo an additional four years of imprisonment.
