Employee beaten up for asking not to smoke at petrol pump

Mirzapur 3 september:-(desk) when motorcyclists arrived at the petrol pump located in Mahant Shivala to refuel, they were asked not to smoke cigarettes. In response, the youths assaulted the employee. The assailants left while threatening the staff. The pump owner has filed a complaint with the police, requesting action against the offenders.

In the Katra Kotwali area, Siddhanath Singh, the owner of the petrol pump located at Mahant Shivala, reported that the pump operates 24 hours a day. On the night of August 31, at around 11:15 PM, three young men arrived on a motorcycle to refuel. They were under the influence of alcohol and smoking cigarettes. Smoking is prohibited at the pump.

When the employees asked them not to smoke, the youths assaulted employee Ramesh Prajapati and left after threatening him. Katra Kotwal Ajay Seth stated that an investigation into the matter will be conducted and action will be taken against the accused
