A young man out for a morning walk was hit by a pickup truck and died.

Mirzapur 6 september:-(desk) On Thursday morning, a young man who was walking home near Cheruiram village in Lalganj was struck from behind by a speeding pickup truck. The impact caused the young man to fall 30 feet away. He died on the spot due to the accident.

Narendra (30), a resident of Cheruiram village, used to go for a morning walk every day. On Thursday morning, he set out for his walk and was returning home after reaching the water tank. A pickup truck coming from Mirzapur towards Madhya Pradesh struck him a short distance from his home. The collision was so severe that Narendra was thrown 30 feet away. He died at the scene of the accident. After the incident, the pickup driver fled the scene with the vehicle.

Family members and villagers rushed to the site upon hearing about the accident, and the police were notified. The police arrived and sent the body for a post-mortem examination. They are currently investigating the incident with the help of CCTV footage. Narendra is survived by a daughter who is two and a half years old. Lalganj police station chief Sanjay Singh confirmed that the young man died due to the pickup truck collision and that efforts are underway to locate the driver.
