Still alive’: Family keeps man’s dead body at home for 18 months

The body of a man from UP’s Kanpur who died a year ago was kept at his house by his family and refused to cremate the body, insisting that he was still alive. His body was kept at home for 18 months assuming that he was in a coma. However, later the family agreed to perform his last rites.
