Partha Chatterjee knew of corruption in education dept, took no action, says ex-TMC leader | Exclusive

In an exclusive interview with India Today, former General Secretary of West Bengal College and Universities Professor's Association (WBCUPA), Baisakhi Banerjee said that Partha Chatterjee knew of massive corruption in the education department but he did not take action.
She said that she had flagged several instances where people in the Education Ministry took money but Chatterjee did not take any action against them. “Partha Chatterjee was a vindictive man" added Baisakhi.

Baisakhi further said that Partha Chatterjee had an agreement with the governor who was the chancellor while he was the education minister. Partha Chatterjee made sure that his corruption activities did not get checked as long as the governor was the chancellor, said Baisakhi.
