The subject was "women in Indian writing in English post 1947" Professor seema jain gave her best wishes to the English department for the guest lecture. Dr. Monisha saxena, associate professor, dav pg college of dehradun was the principal speaker of the online guest lecture. In his spirited speech he said a new awakening had been created among the women since independence. Today women are receiving higher education in every field of science, profession, literature and society. The position of women has changed dramatically in Indian writing too. The main speaker portrayed the position of women by various examples of syllabus. The programme was conducted by Dr Manisha aggarwal, head of the department. Dr. Vandana sharma was instrumental in the implementation of the operations. I went to Dr. What about your father? The presence and support of all the teachers of ritu mittal, miss arshi khan and the college, was commendable.
