UP Muzzafarnagar:The court of POSCO Court-No.-3 of Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, while delivering a historic verdict, has sentenced 16 people to life imprisonment in a mass murder after 11 years. Along with this, a fine of 60-60 thousand rupees on the culprits. has been applied.The mass murder was carried out by the culprits at that time in the year 2011 at Badkali More in Muzaffarnagar district. According to the information, on July 11, 2011 in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, eight people of his family including former chairman of sugarcane committee Udayveer Singh, Gauravveer Singh, Samarveer Singh, were hit by a truck under a conspiracy near village Badkali of Kotwali area. Shyamveer Singh, Divya, Pranav, Bhola and Kalpana were mass murdered.In this case, 16 people including Meenu Tyagi, wife of famous former block chief Vicky Tyagi of western Uttar Pradesh, have been sentenced to life imprisonment and also fined Rs 60,60 thousand by the court today. Court No. 2 took place in the court of Judicial Judge Chhotelal.In the court, 37 witnesses were presented in the court by Eddy GC Kiran Pal Kashyap on behalf of the prosecution and senior advocate Anil Jindal on behalf of the plaintiff. Meenu Tyagi, the main accused in this case, is lodged in the jail of Ger district. In which he has been sentenced through video conferencing for not appearing in the court.

Vicky Tyagi was shot dead on 16 February 2015 in the court premises due to a long trial. Whereas in this case two accused had died later and one was declared a minor.Due to which, in this case today, the court has given age to 16 accused Meenu Tyagi, Mamta, Anil, Shubham, Lokesh, Pramod, Manoj, Mohit, Dharmendra, Ravindra, Vinod, Vidit, Bablu, Bobby alias Vineet Sharma, Bobby alias Vineet Tyagi and Harveer. Sentenced to imprisonment.
