Poster and Slogan Competition on Eye Donation Held at DAV Inter College, Students Encouraged to Promote Awareness

Baghpat 04 September (desk):-A poster painting and slogan writing competition focused on the theme of eye donation was organized at DAV Inter College in Agarwal Mandi Tatiri by the Lions Club. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, who creatively expressed their thoughts on the importance of eye donation through vibrant posters and impactful slogans. The principal of the college, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, emphasized the significance of eye donation, calling it a "great act of kindness" that can bring light to the lives of those suffering from blindness.

During the event, Principal Sharma informed the students that a person's eyes remain viable for donation for several hours after death, and through this noble act, two individuals can regain their sight. He urged everyone to consider pledging their eyes for donation and to spread awareness about the cause. Sharma's message resonated with the participants, who demonstrated their commitment to the cause through their artwork and slogans.

In the poster painting competition, student Vishal Kashyap won first place for his creative and thought-provoking depiction of eye donation, while Aman secured the second position. In the slogan writing competition, Rachit earned the top spot with his impactful slogan, followed by Kartik in second place. The competition not only provided a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents but also played a crucial role in educating them about the life-changing impact of eye donation.

The event concluded with the distribution of awards to the winners, and the teachers present praised the students for their efforts.
