Health Officials Emphasize Family Planning at District-Level Meeting in Maharajganj
Maharajganj 07 September (desk):-On Saturday, a significant meeting of district counselors was held at the Community Health Center Sadar in Maharajganj. Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the Additional Chief Medical Officer, underscored the crucial role of counselors in family planning. He emphasized that counselors play a pivotal role in motivating and supporting individuals to achieve family planning goals and in promoting family planning programs and services. The meeting aimed to enhance the effectiveness of family planning initiatives by improving the support provided by counselors.
District Family and Logistic Manager Mukesh Tripathi and District Family Planning Specialist Hemendra Chaubey elaborated on various methods of family planning and the use of contraceptives in different scenarios. They provided detailed insights into the options available and how they can be adapted to meet diverse needs. The session also addressed the importance of counseling in encouraging individuals to make informed decisions about family planning and reproductive health.
Shivendra Srivastava, District Advisor for Adolescent Health, discussed the need for appropriate contraceptive measures among adolescents and advised on the ideal age for childbearing.
