Hardoi :-. Today, National Agricultural Development 30-Nan N.H.M. was organized by the Horticulture Department in the premises of Bilgram Block Development Officer. A two-day farmers' seminar/seminar was organized under the Horticulture Development Scheme of the districts. In which Mr. Ashish Singh Ashu, MLA Bilgram-Mallanwa, as the chief guest, started the seminar by cutting the ribbon and Saumya Gururani, Chief Development Officer, as the special guest, started the seminar by lighting the lamp along with the MLA. District Horticulture Officer Subhash Chandra started the farmers seminar/seminar from the stage by welcoming and congratulating the Honorable MLA and Chief Development Officer Madam. In the fair, Umesh Kumar Sahu, District Agriculture Officer, Dr. Rachna Dixit, Chief Veterinary Officer, Dr. R.S. Singh, Deputy Medical Officer, Animal Husbandry Department, District Bilgram, Dr. D.B. Singh, Senior Scientist, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dr. C.P.N. Gautam, Scientist, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nidhi Gupta. , District Sugarcane Officer etc. officers were present. Farmers from all the development blocks of the district were present in the farmers seminar. In the seminar, to make farmers aware about the schemes of Uttar Pradesh Government, stalls of departments like Horticulture Department, Micro Irrigation Firm, Agriculture Department, Fisheries Department, Fruit Preservation Department, Sugarcane Department, Animal Husbandry Department, Financial Services Department, UPNEDA etc. were set up. Along with this, there was also a provision in the fair for notified companies for hybrid vegetable seeds under the National Agricultural Development Scheme and other schemes run by the Horticulture Department. Out of which Indo-American Hybrid Seeds (India) Pvt. Ltd. set up a stall to promote hybrid vegetable seeds. Farmers visited the stalls of all the departments and saw information about the schemes and exhibits related to the department. The Honorable MLA also inspected the stalls of the departments along with the Chief Development Officer. Honorable MLA and Chief Development Officer gave information from the stage about the schemes of Uttar Pradesh government related to doubling the income of farmers. Scientists from Krishi Vigyan Kendra provided information to the farmers about tips to get rid of pests in crops, pesticides etc. Through this type of farmer seminar/seminar conducted by the Horticulture Department, Hardoi, farmers get information about the schemes run by the Horticulture Department as well as other departments. In the end, District Horticulture Officer Subhash Chandra concluded the program by thanking the Honorable MLA, Chief Development Officer and all the farmers who came to the Kisan Fair for being present in the fair. On 12.12.2023, on the second day of the Kisan Goshti/Seminar, farmers will be taken on a tour to the Center of Excellence for Vegetable Urmada, Kannauj. Where farmers will be trained by special experts on subjects like making good quality seedlings, seed germination, pest control etc.
