Hardoi :-Under the Uttar Pradesh Millets Revitalization Program, recipe and consumer program was organized today at Krishak Auditorium, near Bilgram Chungi, Hardoi. In which the seminar was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Chief Guest District Magistrate Mangala Prasar Singh and Special Guest Keshav Chandra Goswami, Superintendent of Police, Dhananjay Mishra, Member Area Panchayat and District Development Officer, Hardoi. In the program, the stalls set up by various departments were inspected by the chief guest and special guest along with officers and farmers. Deputy Agriculture Director, District Agriculture Officer, District Horticulture Officer, KVK Scientists, Soil Conservation Officer, Sub Divisional Agricultural Extension Officer and a large number of farmers were present in the program. The program included students of Veni Madhav Vidyapeeth Girls Inter College, Vedic Vidya Mandir Inter College, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, HK Hotel, Treat Garden, Hardoi, Mircharam Sweets House, Hardoi, Firgees Bakers, Mahi Caters, Chaudhary Traders and Siyaram Sweets etc. Stalls of various types of products made from millets were set up by institutions and business establishments, which included products made from Ragi, Kodo, Sawan, Bajra, Jowar, etc. such as Bajra, Ragi and buckwheat flour laddus, Bajra khichdi, Kachori. , Chausele, Dalia, Bajra Toast, Ragi Halwa, Ragi Fut Pua, Sawan Kheer, Jowar Brownie, Jowar Banana Cake, Jowar Gulab Jamun, Maize Paratha, Maize Roti etc. have attracted a lot of people towards the products made there. Millets dishes were tasted by everyone in the program, Sawan Kheer and Jowar Gulab Jamun were liked a lot. The District Magistrate requested the people who came for the program to include Shri Anna in their diet and explained its importance. He was told that under the inspiration of the Honorable Prime Minister and under the efficient direction of the Chief Minister, various types of programs are being organized on the occasion of this International Millets Year, in which commendable work is being done by the Agriculture Department, Hardoi and said that I hope that the people Shri Anna (Millets) can be included in the diet in future and this type of program will also increase awareness among consumers. Superintendent of Police Keshav Chandra Goswami said that many schemes are being run by the Honorable Prime Minister and Chief Minister to double the income of farmers and improve the health of everyone. Farmer brothers are doubling their income by taking advantage of it. Farmer brothers must grow food (millets) crops. Along with farming, one should also do dairy farming. The District Development Officer said that farmers should take advantage of the schemes run by the Agriculture Department, Sugarcane Department, Horticulture Department, Animal Husbandry Department and Fisheries Department to reduce the cost of farming and increase their production. Cultivation of Shri Anna (Millets) is best for soil and human health. Deputy Agriculture Director said that there is no need of irrigation and fertilizers in the cultivation of millets. Cultivation of grain crops (millets) is very suitable for cow-based farming. Deputy Agriculture Director told that farmer brothers should definitely grow grain (millets) crops (sorghum, millet, kodo, ragi, sawan etc.). Cultivation of Shri Anna (Millets) is best for soil and human health. There is less need for irrigation and fertilizers in its cultivation.
