ONE AUTO LIFTER ARRESTED BY JAIL BAIL & P.O. CELL DWARKA DISTRICT.

DCP/Dwarka Ankit Singh informed that Head Constable Dinesh, Constable T Kulwant , Constable Ankur and Constable Rohit uder overall close supervision of ACP . Ravinder Ahlawat ACP/Ops was tasked to verify the source of livelihood criminal who were recently released from the jail to curb the incident of motor vehicle theft in the area. On 27.04.2024, team was present near DDA Flats Bindapur, Delhi where it was informed by secret informer that one accused namely Aman who was an active snatcher was seen with different vehicles and he is a drug addict and no plausible source of earning of livelihood is there.
The team deployed secret informers to locate the accused. information was received that accused Aman would come near Peer Baba with stolen motorcycle to commit offence. The team without delay immediately swung into action and laid a trap near Peer Baba Chowk, Bindapur, Delhi. On the pointing out of informer, accused Aman was apprehended with one motorcycle displaying number plate DL-12SD-3834. On interrogation, he was identified himself as Aman s/o Rajbir Singh. On verification at Zipnet the said motorcycle was found stolen vide e-FIR No. 31589/2023 PS Bindapur, Delhi. Subsequently, he was arrested by PS Bindapur, Delhi.
On interrogation, accused Aman disclosed that after being released from jail, he couldn’t secure any work to sustain his livelihood and due to his bad company, he became a drug addict. He needed money for his addiction. To obtain money for drugs, he needed vehicle to commit offence and therefore he stole motorcycle from Bindapur area. He was using this motorcycle to flee away after commission of the crime. On his instance, two more stolen scooties were recovered from his pointing out from DDA park, Bindapur, Delhi which were parked by him for future misdemeanor.
Accused Aman resident of Raja Puri Uttam Ngar. previously involved in more than five cases of snatching and theft. he is drug addict and he commit the crime to fulfil his need of drugs.
