3 people including the girl trapped in the lift of Prateek Grand City, no one heard the voice for half an hour

Cases of lift failure in multi-storey buildings are increasing continuously these days. Last week, news of an 11-year-old boy being stuck in a lift for 45 minutes in Noida surfaced. Now a similar incident has come to the fore from Prateek Grand City Society located in Siddharth Vihar, Ghaziabad. Here the lift stopped before reaching the basement at 6 pm on Friday. Three people including the girl and the woman aboard were trapped inside. After about half an hour of effort, all three could be rescued safely. The people of the society are in panic after this incident.
Anjali Singh, who lives in Prateek Grand City Society, told that she was in the lift with her five-year-old daughter and Kunal Singh Rawat. According to him, the lift suddenly stopped even before reaching the basement. Kunal's father Karan Singh told that the lift alarm did not sound. Son and Anjali kept banging the door for help, but due to lack of guard, no one heard their voice for 20 minutes.
When another resident came near the lift one floor up, he heard the voice of the people. He informed the security personnel and the maintenance team. Two workers kept trying to open the lift for about 30 minutes. After a lot of efforts, the lift gate opened and the three people were rescued. All are said to be safe.
