Boat laden with riders and fodder sank uncontrollably in flood waters, two dead, five missing

Ghazipur. Two people were killed when a boat carrying flood victims sank in Atthatha village of Severai tehsil area, while the news of 5 people missing in the water has been received. According to the information, arrangements were made for the movement of people by the administration in Aththatha village of Tehsil area. According to eyewitnesses, about 35 people were sitting in this medium boat carrying animal feed and other household items, as soon as the boat opened and moved forward 100 meters, the boat's generator stopped and due to overloading, water started filling in the boat. In this chaos, people started jumping into the water from the boat, in which the village's W Gaun (40) Nagina (72) and the boatmen who were driving the boat started going into the deep water, after some time these three were taken out by the villagers. W Gaur and Nagina died on the way to the hospital for treatment. The three boys and two girls of the same village have not been found yet, the district administration swung into action as soon as the incident was reported. The team of Health Department, including ADM SDM, reached the spot. The drowning people were being searched by the divers of PAC.
