St. Paul’s College annual concert enthrals Lucknowites
Students of St. Paul’s College celebrated their annual concert, Melange, on Saturday. The entire show was about the true essence and meaning of happiness, which was showcased through myriad celebrations, replete with music, dazzling, dances, enactments, and use of colour amidst great zeal, vibrancy and elation.
The function took place in the presence of Fr Dennis Naresh, Lobo, the Vicar-General of the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow and other dignitaries. The programme commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony, invoking God’s blessings.
Festivities began with an electrifying performance. ‘Tango Treat’ by the tiny tots.
This was followed by a choreography celebrating the contribution of the Covid-19 warriors. The school choir enthralled the happy gatherers with a beautiful song. The school premises resonated with little actors performing Alibaba and 40 thieves with much precision. The students gave one and all their wellness, Mantras for fitness and longevity.
The little ones took the audience to the tropical islands with groovy moves, and the much-loved Minnie Mouse danced to captivate the guests. Festivities rode to the Crescendo with the choreography India@75 and a play based on Jane Austen’s famous Pride and Prejudice. The grounds of St Paul’s College reverberated with thunderous applause.
