The Congress continued its protests against the government and the Enforcement Directorate over the probe, alleging that the central investigation agencies were being misused by the central government. The third round of questioning will resume on Wednesday.

Amid the demonstrations on Tuesday, dozens of Congress MPs - including Rahul Gandhi - were detained. Dramatic videos emerged amid the protests.

One of them showed the India Youth Congress chief, Srinivas BV, being pulled with his hair and being pushed into a van in purported video that showed some security personnel. Later, the Delhi Police was quoted as saying by news agency ANI that staff identity was being confirmed, and action would be taken.

Visuals - earlier in the day - showed Rahul Gandhi sitting on the road in protest. “This is the reality of India that it is a police state, it is the truth... Modiji is a 'raja' (king)," he said after detention.
