The team of Special Staff Rohini District has arrested following two active desperate snatchers, and recovered Four snatched mobile phones and a stolen M cycle from their possession.
(1) Ashish @Golu S/O Rajesh R/o HNo L-13 Rajiv Nagar Extn. Begam Pur Delhi Age 25 Yrs ( Previously involved in 31cases) and Absent BC of PS Begam Pur . He is also proclaimed offender in two cases.
(2) Vishal @ Kabra S/O Shish Pal R/o HNo E-724 Mangol Puri Delhi Age 27 Yrs ( Previously nvolved in 35 cases ) Absent BC of PS Mangol Puri Delhi
,BRIEF OF THE INCIDEN,
On receipt of secret information, team of special staff Rohini District has intercepted and arrested two active/desperate snatchers from Partap Vihar Sec-22 Rohini, Delhi, when they were coming from Partap Vihar on stolen motor cycle No DL4SDB2963. Four snatched mobile phones were recovered from their cursory search. They have been arrested vide DD No 007A Dt. 28.07.22 U/S 41.1(d) CrPC PS Aman Vihar.
Both SNATCHERS were active in Rohini District and were captured in CCTV Cameras while committed Snatchings in Aman Vihar, Sector 20 and 22 Rohini, Mangolpuri and Raj Park.
During interrogation accused Ashish @Golu disclosed that he is a drug addict and to fulfill his needs he was committing robbery/snatching with his associate Puspender @ Jangli. Puspender @ Jangli was arrested by P.S Dwarka North in the month of April and disclosed his involvement in 21 cases of snatchings.Out of 21 cases Nine snatchings were committed by him with Ashish @golu in which he was evading his arrest. After arrest of Puspender @ Jungli, he is continuously committing mobile phone and chain snatchings with his associates Ajay @ Gainda and Vishal @kabra in the area of Rohini, Outer ,West and Dwarka Distt. After release from jail in September 2021, he was not attending his court dates in his previous cases and was declared proclaimed offender in two cases and NBWs were issued against him in other two cases.
Ashish @ Golu is also absent B.C of police station Begam Pur, Vishal @ kabra is also previously involved in 35 cases of snatchings and absent B.C of P.S Mangol Puri. He shifted to Ghaziabad and committing snatchings in Delhi with his associates. He was also not attending his court dates.
