Employee accidentally receives $1.43 crore as salary, resigns and disappears in Chile

A man in Chile resigned and disappeared after he was accidentally paid 165,398,851 Chilean pesos (over 1.43 crore) instead of his actual salary of 500,000 pesos (over 43,000). The employee had initially promised to return the amount that was paid to him in excess. The company has now filed a complaint charging the worker with misappropriation of funds.
