A task force has been constituted under the chairmanship of the officials of the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), from which the average AQI can be ascertained three days before the advance forecasting continues. The restrictions will be increased accordingly. There will be a ban on running the diesel generator only after the AQI reaches above 300.
stubble burning
Utsav Sharma said that stubble is being burnt in Punjab and Haryana, which can increase pollution in the air of NCR. According to the information received through satellite on October 4, stubble was burnt at 65 places in Punjab, seven in Haryana, two in Uttar Pradesh. Rain is expected for two days. This will give relief to the people from pollution.
