In her communication, Dwivedi emphasized the need for records including land surveys, revenue maps, and details of land boundaries for both sites. These documents are crucial for the department to formally protect and preserve these historical locations. The Uttar Pradesh State Archaeology Department's initiative is part of a broader effort to maintain and conserve the state’s rich cultural heritage.

The Kanhaiya Sthan and Sahjanwa Babu sites are particularly noteworthy for their historical value. Sahjanwa Babu is believed to contain ancient Buddhist stupas, which have long been of interest to historians and archaeologists. The local Devdah Ramgram Buddhist Development Committee has been advocating for the development of such sites, recognizing their importance in the region's historical landscape.

The District Archaeology Officer, Ram Vinay, has been instructed to conduct a physical verification of the sites and coordinate with the District Magistrate to secure the necessary records. The protection and potential development of these sites are expected to contribute significantly to the historical and cultural preservation efforts in the region.
