The demand for Ganesh idols has surged, with artisans working diligently to complete their creations. In Shastri Nagar's Tedhwa area, sculptors are busy finalizing idols of various sizes. Rambhajan, an artisan, noted a growing preference for smaller idols, which are increasingly popular for home installations. These idols, priced between ₹500 and ₹1000, are primarily made of Plaster of Paris (POP), though there is also a noticeable shift towards eco-friendly options.

As the festival approaches, devotees are preparing for the ceremonial worship of Ganesh idols, which will be installed at homes and public places. The next ten days will see a vibrant display of religious fervor, with devotees chanting bhajans like "Ganpati Bappa Morya" and participating in various rituals. The festival is not only a time for spiritual engagement but also for communal gatherings and celebrations.

Pandit Bhanu Prakash Tripathi highlighted that the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, starting on Saturday, will be marked by special worship and rituals. This period of ten days is considered particularly auspicious for fulfilling vows and making offerings to Lord Ganesh. The festival's atmosphere will be filled with devotion and joy, as people celebrate the arrival of the beloved deity and seek his blessings for prosperity and happiness.
