Two Suspects Arrested for Forged High School Certificates During Police Recruitment Exam in Baghpat

Baghpat 02 September (desk):-Baraut: Two candidates were arrested by the police during the police recruitment examination held at Janata Vedic Inter College, Baraut. During the investigation, it was revealed that both candidates had fraudulently cleared their high school and intermediate examinations using forged documents. On Sunday, the police presented the suspects in court, following which they were sent to jail.

It is worth noting that Saturday marked the final day of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination. During the second shift of the examination at Janata Vedic Inter College, two candidates, Anuj and Preet, were flagged during the routine check. Discrepancies were found between the birth dates listed on their Aadhaar cards and admit cards. The centre in-charge then called the police, who took custody of the suspects.

Upon further interrogation at the police station, it was discovered that both candidates had altered their ages to qualify for the high school and intermediate exams. The police seized photocopies of the suspects' admit cards for the 2023 police recruitment exam, as well as forged mark sheets from their high school and intermediate exams.

Following the investigation, a case was registered against the two individuals under various sections of the law. They were then presented before the court, which ordered their imprisonment.
