Plan to Murder History-Sheeter and Brother-in-Law Unveiled in Uttarakhand, Main Accused Arrested

Baghpat 07 September (desk):-In a significant breakthrough, police have arrested a suspect involved in the murder of history-sheeter Kavindra and his brother-in-law Kuldeep, whose killing was planned in Kashipur, Uttarakhand. The accused, a resident of Kashipur, was apprehended by the police, and the car used in the crime was also recovered. The murders had been carried out in Baghpat’s Mansoorpur village, sending shockwaves through the local community.

According to the police report, the case was initially filed at Chandni Nagar Police Station by Advocate Sandeep from Nabi Pur village in Ghaziabad. Sandeep revealed that on Friday evening, Kavindra and Vipul, residents of Ramala, visited his home to check on their ailing father. Later, they were picked up by Harendra, along with his brother Deepak Pahalwan, Gautam Jatav from Khela, and Deepak alias Furtilla from Balaeni, as well as three unknown individuals. They were then taken to a tube well near Mansoorpur and shot dead.

Following the investigation, the police arrested the prime accused, Harendra, recovering the pistol used in the murder and a motorcycle. In a separate encounter, Gautam Jatav, who carried a bounty of ₹50,000, was shot and injured during a confrontation with law enforcement. The police are intensifying their search for the remaining suspects involved in the killings.

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) N.P. Singh stated that the murder conspiracy was orchestrated in Uttarakhand and that another key suspect, Pradeep Sharma from Dhakia in Udham Singh Nagar district, has been arrested and sent to jail. The police continue to conduct raids in search of the other absconding suspects, with a commitment to apprehend them soon.
