A DESPERATE ROBBER ARRESTED, ONE COUNTRY-MADE PISTOL AND TWO LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED

A team of Interstate Cell, Crime Branch, Chanakya Puri, New Delhi led by Inspector Manmeet Malik, under the supervision of Shri Ramesh Lamba, ACP/ISC has arrested a desperate robber namely Md Raja R/o Jasola Village, New Delhi, Age-27 Yrs., who was wanted in a case of gun-point Robbery of ₹ 70,000 (Seventy Thousand Rupees) & two mobile phone committed while using a country made pistol at a Wine Shop in Surajkund area (Haryana) registered vide FIR No. 86/2022 dated 09.02.2022 u/s 25 Arms Act & 379B IPC PS Suraj Kund, Faridabad, Haryana.
INCIDENT
On 09.02.2022, complainant Naresh R/o Distt. Palwal, Haryana reported an incident of gun-point robbery at PS Suraj Kund. He reported that he owns a wine shop at Delhi-Surajkund Border. On 09.02.2022, two persons namely Md. Hasim and Md Raja entered his wine shop at the time of closing of the shop. Thereafter, Md. Hasim put a pistol on the temple of his salesman and Md Raja robbed ₹ 70,000/- (Seventy Thousand Rupees) from the money-box of his wine shop alongwith two mobile phones. Subsequently, case FIR No. 86/2022 dated 09.02.2022 u/s 25 Arms Act & 379B IPC was registered at PS Suraj Kund, Faridabad, Haryana.
On 16.08.2022, a secret information was received at ISC/Crime Branch regarding the movement of a desperate robber namely Md Raja, who was wanted in FIR No. 86/2022 dated 09.02.2022 u/s 25 Arms Act & 379B IPC PS Suraj Kund, Faridabad, Haryana. It was further informed that he committed this robbery along with his associate namely Mohd Hasim, who has already been arrested in this case by the local police. Acting upon the secret information, a raiding team consisting of SI Lokender, ASI Surender, ASI Ravinder, ASI Rajeev, HC Sachin, HC Pawan, and Ct Rajesh was constituted and departed to conduct raid. A trap was laid near sector 11 park, Jasola Vihar main road. Thereafter, on the instance of secret informer, accused Md Raja was apprehended and he was formally searched. One country made pistol along with two live cartridges, which were used in the commission of crime registered vide FIR NO 86/22 PS Suraj Kund (HR) were recovered. Subsequently, a case FIR No. 172/22 dated 16.08.2022 u/s 25 ARMS Act has been registered at Crime Branch and investigation is being taken up.
