BLIND THEFT CASE OF KARWACHAUTH THALIS WORKED OUT WITHIN 3 HRS
NOTORIOUS THIEF ARRESTED BY TEAM OF PS SADAR BAZAR
20 DECORATIVE PLATES OF KARVA CHAUTH GIFT HAMPER RECOVERED
With the arrest of 01 notorious thief namely Navneet Kumar Singh s/o Ashok Kumar Singh r/o D Block, Gali Number 12, near Diamond Crown Banquet Hall, Sector 51, Noida UP, the staff of PS Sadar Bazar has worked out a blind Theft case.
INCIDENT & OPERATION:-
On 12/10/22, complainant Naresh Kumar Gupta r/o Mandawli alleged that he has came for shopping in Sadar Market and purchased 20 set of Decorative Karva Chauth plates hamper and kept them in the MCD parking in a Katta/sack. However someone stole that sack. Consequently, a case vide FIR number 801/22, dated 12.10.22, u/s 379 IPC was registered and investigation taken up.
Immediately ASI Chatar Singh along with Ct Sachin swung into action and checked the CCTV footage of the parking and in CCTV footage one person was visible stealing the articles of the complainant.
On further checking it was revealed that accused person had also came on a bike. Dedicated efforts was made and search was made on the basis of CCTV footage and bike details. Finally after a search of 2 Hrs the accused person was nabbed and case property recovered.
INTERROGATION:-
On interrogation accused disclosed that he is having a grocery shop in Noida and had came to purchase articles from Sadar Market. However, seeing the katta containing decorative Karva Chauth Gift Hamper unattended, he came in to temptation and stole the Katta containing the decorative Karva Chauth Gift Hamper.
