Delhi records 1,383 fresh cases, one death; 1,781 new infections in Mumbai

Coronavirus News Live Updates: Delhi recorded 1,383 fresh COVID-19 cases with a positivity rate of 7.22 per cent and one more fatality due to the viral disease in a 24-hour period, according to data shared by the health department here on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Mumbai on Tuesday reported 1,781 COVID-19 cases and one death, taking the tally to 10,97,735 and the toll to 19,586, a civic official said.

India reported 12,781 new Covid-19 cases and 18 deaths on Monday. The country has 76,700 active cases, while the daily positivity rate has increase over 4 per cent. India’s tally of cases and deaths stands at 4,33,09,473 and 5,24,873, respectively. New Delhi reported 1,060 new cases and six deaths on Monday, taking the city’s positivity rate to over 10 per cent. Maharashtra recorded 2,345 fresh coronavirus cases, including 1,310 in Mumbai, and two fatalities. The state has over 24,000 active cases.
