On Saturday, when the women did not receive the funds in their accounts, they went to the office of the finance company located in the town, only to find it locked. Frustrated, the women began to create a ruckus and attempted to break the lock. Upon receiving information from the landlord, the police arrived and took the women to the police station, where their complaints were registered.

The women protesting alleged that some individuals who came to their villages claimed to represent a finance company and promised each woman Rs 70,000 under the guise of insurance. They collected Rs 3,000 along with ID and photos from each woman for this purpose.

The fraudsters assured them that the money would be transferred to their accounts by 4 PM on Friday.

When the funds did not arrive, the women gathered at the finance company's office on Saturday to express their anger. Following this, they went to the police station to file a complaint.

Among those present were Chandrakala, Meena, Indra, Geeta, Mansha, Shanti, Anita, Kavita, Sanju, and Phoolmati. The Sakaldiha police station chief, Sanjay Kumar Singh, stated that an investigation is underway based on the women's complaint.
