IED Blasts Averted in Bijapur

Bijapur: 2 IED bombs fitted with a directional Pipe Bomb Command System were diffused by the team of Keripu 229/C Samvay Aavapalli and Aavapalli District Force near the Shiva temple on the Usoor-Avapalli road on Saturday, officials said

According to security officials, the IED was planted with an intention to hurt the CRPF forces oan duty. However, the blast was averted by the team of district forces on duty.

As per the reports the IED was discovered by the team of Keripu 229/C Samvay Aavapalli and Aavapalli District Force who was carrying out an anti-maoist operation in the naxal dominated Usoor area of the district.
